These tips are used on any sealant-filled channels where the sealant is flush with either side of the surfaces. They enable the users with more flexibility; one can push the sealant removal tool to extract sealant or pull the tool to remove sealant.
These chisel tips will also be used on aircraft exterior panels and aircraft windscreens, vehicle windshields, roof skylights where they are exterior sealed, and any groove-filled sealant.
