Why we created Lexeit
Our journey began with firsthand experiences of the challenges in the aviation industry, particularly in sealant removal. We encountered the difficulty of finding a tool that could effectively strip sealant from airplane panels without causing damage to the delicate surfaces. While existing tools were available, they often led to significant waste, requiring 5 to 10 scrapers just to complete the job on a single panel. This process was not only inefficient and time-consuming but also expensive and frustrating for technicians.
To address these issues, we developed the Lexeit tool—a modular sealant scraper designed for enhanced durability and versatility. By focusing on long-term performance and expanded usability, our innovation minimizes waste and streamlines the removal process, ultimately providing a reliable solution that meets the rigorous demands of aviation maintenance.
Our idea was soon born – its first prototype in a cigar box.

At Lexeit, we source our plastics and packaging locally from trusted suppliers, ensuring quality and sustainability while supporting our community. Using high-grade, recyclable materials that meet aviation standards, we reduce environmental impact and maintain strong local partnerships. Every product is hand-assembled and packaged in our workshop with care, reflecting our passion for crafting reliable tools with precision and dedication.
In our workshop, we machine and hand-finish each sealant scraper tip from premium plastic stock, ensuring the perfect balance of strength and finesse for safe sealant removal on all surfaces. Though a small operation, our refined process scales to meet professional and retail demands, driven by our commitment to hands-on craftsmanship and exceptional quality in every detail.
