Flat Chisel tips are used to separate two surfaces that are sealed/stuck together. These tips measure either 3/4″ or 1 1/4″ wide and 1/4″ thick.
Flat Chisel tips also have more flexible uses, such as removing flat surface sealant, but can also be used to pry or drive apart two members that have been sealed together. Kitchen and bathroom sinks that have been sealed down to the countertops. Peel and stick adhesion strips for wall/floor tile. Car engine parts that have been sealed together. Aircraft sheet metal that has been sealed together and, after fastener removal, needs to be pried apart.
